Placards are a GREAT idea. I think they worked out very well at the MI meet.

I suppose you can put me down as a definate.... MAYBE. I gotta check with the boss (fiancee) to see what we're doing that weekend. I have a friend that lives right at the exit so maybe I can combine trips...! If I'm there you'll recognize me as my handle on here is the same as my OH vanity plate... Pete

Right now, I put my chances of being there at about 70%.In other words, I'm trying to work it out. Should I leave on Friday morning (taking the day off), Friday afternoon after work, Middle of Friday night after getting a nap. These are questions I must answer. What about hotels? Are there any goods ones nearby?Lot to think about - hope to see you there!

These are questions I must answer. It depends. From MapQuest (directions), they state your trip will be about 7 hours total. It's up to you whether you want to drive that on Saturday morning or come into town on Friday night.quote:What about hotels? It's official!! I'm on my way!!I made my hotel reservations through Expedia today.Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do Saturday evening after the meet? Since I don't drink and the kids will be with me, I must respectfully bow-out of the post-party.Which leads me to another question: Is anyone else bringing their kids? My 9 and 4 year old will be with me (along with my wife of course).19

I'll check around online, if not I'm sure someone at the dealer would know of places to head off to that evening.

UPDATEJeff Strausser (Vibe Brand Quality Manager at GM) said as long as nothing comes up between now the meet, he should be down there in attendance. He has marked it down and will let me know if anything changes. I will touch base with him again in about a week or so (after my vacation). No word if a S/C Vibe will be available by this time.quote:How many Vibes/Matricies (is that plural for Matrix?) are we up to now... I lost count! rasermon:I might be coming, and if i do, i stayed at a hampton inn over in zanesville, oh. about 45 minutes east of the meet location. VERY nice, reasonable rates. if i come, i'll stay there again. and if you guys stay there, we could have a "mini" vibe rally the nite before and do dinner or something...UPDATE: Just checked, that Hampton Inn has rooms for $73 a nite that weekend if you have a AAA card...

Man, my Emily is working hard this summer!Got time off work, but the grant is conditional: if they really need me, I have to work...but if they can at all go without me, they will (and more likely than not they won't need me).Confirmed reservations: Hampton Inn, 1009 Spring St, Zanesville, OHAnyone else interested in staying there? We could have a mini-Vibe dinner the nite before, there's a nice Olive Garden across the street (plus a pool and jacuzzi in the hotel!) Very nice hotel, I stayed there for my Indiana excursion...plus rates are about $73 a nite with AAA card! So, I guess I'm in! Look at what you people are doing to me, I swear!20

gee, I'll help take a look at it. can't be to awfully hard.( just splice and duck tape some wires together) LOLno really the biggest problem would be finding the correct wires to hook up to. I don't think you would have to take the steering wheel and mast jacket apart. just the door panels and kick pad.
