Got a neptune cuz I knew only two things, I wanted a stick, and I DID NOT want another black car (have a black sunfire). Since I got an 04 in sept 04 choices were limited, so the dealer had to get one from almost 200 miles away just to get me the stick without the nav system. I wasnt about to pay 1100 for something Id never use anyway... besides they had two sticks with nav, both black, so that was two strikes, the extra stuff and the wrong color.. I really wanted the silver, after having black and white cars. WOW do I run on...Its Neptune, and I like it alot... even though it does shiw dirt almost as quick as black
Debi 2005 Moonstone AWD, Monotone, Leather, Moon and Tunes, Power Pkg, XM radio, side-curtain airbags, aftermarket starter and remote, two teenagers, window vent visors, 35% tint, 20% in back, Eclipse 2 SUV tent, Drawtite hitch, Bug shield, Honk If You Love Clay Aiken Decal.
Just ordered my Vibe in Salsa. I kinda preferred the Neptune, but wife and I could both agree on the Salsa. Wife wanted that metallic orange color, but that was a non-starter for me.
Having owned a Neptune GT for 2 years, I discovered that it's nearly impossible to keep a car that color clean. Wasn't my first choice of color, either, but the Vibes were just coming out and I took what I could get. I wanted frosty monotone or two-tone, shadow monotone, or fusion monotone for the next car, and fortunately the dealer found an acceptable one in fusion, which they were kind enough to drive down from Oklahoma. It's much easier to keep clean and I like the color so much better than the Neptune.

I'm still torn on color. I ordered a 05 monotone Neptune but won't be able to take delivery until July 2005, so I've got some time to change my mind.I ordered the neptune because the Pontiac site makes it look more like an electric blue...you know, the electric blue like on the PT Cruiser. But after seeing pictures, it looks more like a dark blue to me...nice, but I'm not sure I want dark blue.So now I'm bouncing between Moonstone, Lava, and Frosty, in that order of preference...still can't make up my mind though. Is the Frosty metallic or non-metallic? The Pontiac site makes it look metallic, but the color rendition on the Pontiac site is lousy. If it's metallic or a luminous white, I'd go for it. I like the Lava too...I owned a Jetta that was Tornado Red and I loved it (it was an eye-searing screaming red that looked GREAT especially with dark-tinted windows). Moonstone is my "safe" color...I know I'll like it even if it's not exactly the shade I think it is.Unfortunately it's not like I can just go to a dealer and look...there are no Pontiac dealers in Korea, just the AAFES sales lots on post and they rarely have more than one vehicle of any given type so it's tough to compare colors. The only Vibe on the lot is the monotone Abyss GT that I test drove.

Ok, I made up my mind. Changed the color to Moonstone, and added 17 inch wheels.

I have a 2005 Moonstone monotone. I really wanted the Neptune but it was the end of the 05 model year and they only had Moonstone, Abyss and Frosty. Living in Florida with the heat I didn't want black, and the options on the Frosty weren't exactly what I was looking for. The Moonstone had my options and the color is kinda funky, Sometimes it looks grey but other times kinda brownish. I love my Vibe.

And I believe I have only seen one Vibe in Envy colour... didn't look to bad.Mine is an `03 GT in monotone Shadow. I ordered mine with all of the options through the internet. I wanted the GPS package, and could not locate one within the entire state of California!Anyways, after owning many cars of many different colors, have found that silver or charcoal are the easiest to keep clean (they don't show the dirt as much). My previous ride (a `99 Suburban was pewter metallic).

My Vibe is the abyss color. It looks sweet with my tinted windows. I wanted a monotone but the dealership only had 2-tone Vibes and the abyss looked the best with the grey cladding, at least in my opinion
What I meant was, why are there 2 neptunes, 2 abysses, 2 shadows, 2satellites, 2 lavas, 2 fusions, and 2 platinums listed... why did somebody add a choice that was already there?

I know there was a blue, I was actually mocking it (in a joking matter, I don't want to offend any one). I just think it's funny when my Vibe is called blue.... even though by looks it is, but it's like the people that call a applecherry red classic mustang just... red. The owner probably cringes every time he hears "RED". You can't blame the people that call it blue... but it's neptune.....Of course after all that ranting, I am still an idiot, lol, cause I didn't see the "blue" option either way... way to call me out V.
