just like everyone has been saying, i like being able to ask a question and not having an answer filled with attitude.i also like coming to a community where everyone has a common and more defined interest. this isnt just a "Pontiac" forum where the Vibers have their own little corner...
I've benefited greatly from all the information on mods/upgrades, and maintenance advice. I totally dig the organized structure of the threads here, and all of the quality advice members have filled them with over the years.I'm a happy Genviber for years to come!

Just a note, been gone for a while..........Talked mother in law in to a 09 Matrix and sister in law to a 08 vibe..Still rolling along, glad to see the site is still alive and kickin'

Honestly I enjoy the constructive criticism.I like hearing WHY someone doesn't like something as opposed to hearing "it sucks", or "it's ugly"And loads of folks willing to be the first to rip into something so we can all learn from their experience.I'm not active on many other car forums, but I think GenVibe.com is what car forums are supposed to be
Whats NOT to love? Bcause of this site:- Learned that i can do my own tranny flush. Saves $$$- Found a cheap source for a blower resistor ( Rock Auto ) - The importance of cleaning the MAF sensor. Low cost.- Recommendations for speakers ( Polk DB seies ) Sound fanatastic, by thw way. Great speakers low $$$- Best drive belt to buy ( Goodyear Gatorback ) and a cheap souce to buy.- You can change the JUST the piston for the belt tensioner assembly, instead of the entire assembly.... Save $$$ - Recently changed my plugs to irridium IXs and saw a jump in MPG. Looks like I will be hitting the 30MPG mark after being stuck at 28 mixed driving. Save $$$Bottom line. This site saves you $$$ and prolongs the life of your vibe...sounds like a infomercial....LOL

Must be a lava thing But I agree, I love having one place where I am not looked at like a nutcase when I excitedly talk about my car or the upcoming changes to it. I love that you're all nuts enough to suggest more lol. Also like Cptnsolo said, I've already saved money, bigtime, and gained a lot of self confidence learning and doing things myself, thanks to the excellent information here!
