random question-how many quarts of oil does it take to fill the 1.8L? for the life of me, i can't remember how many i used, and it came up in conversation today.i seem to remember using 4.5q, but i may be confusing that amount with my old truck...

Do you happen to know if there is a wrench that's actually designed for the 1.8 canister cap? Or is a strap wrench the best way to go?

I used the strap wrench for a while but it got cut so I'm now using a hammer and a short punch. Take the metal clasp out first, it makes it easier to tap the housing. After the first revolution in tapping it you should be able to turn it by hand. I don't recall if there's a specific wrench for it.
