Break in oil is still used in new or rebuilt air cooled aircraft engines. You have about 60 years of technological advancements between you and a Lycoming engine, so you'll find that what's floating around in your oil pan is 5w30 dino-juice. Replace it at 3000 miles with the same stuff. Rinse, repeat until you get tired of the car.Have fun!
