The forcast today said that there is a 30% chance of showers Saturday. But everyone knows how unreliable forcasts are. Good weather or bad I'll be there.

Grand Nationals are wonderful feel free. There will be an '88 Monte Carlo SS there so you can him can b/s since it's the same platform.ALso, the friend of mine bringing the Vette, Paul, also has an '87 Hurst Olds among other cars so you'll fit in without a Vibe don't worry And I don't trust weather forecasts at all so weather there are tornados or floods or it's sunny it will still be on for saturday. They have covered pavalions at each parking lot so atleast we can stay dry

Sweet! I haven't seen a nice one of those in 15 years. He should bring the Olds instead of the Vett.

Sure. If it is hot and humid out the car isn't as much fun as when it is cool and dry air :-)

Does it really make THAT big of difference??? I know turbo motors are finicky about heat and such, but is it that big?? Well, i guess the older ECU might not deal as well as newer electronics...

Can't promise mine will be exactly spotless either... after my 4+ hour drive, but I'll try drive between the bugs. LOL! I did mapquest the hotel in conjunction to the park... about 12 mins away, that is very close. I'll just plug it in my GPS and that will be easy. I'll head to the meet first and then to the hotel to drop off stuff after the meet... before the rest of the eveing ensues, whatever that is going to be, but it should be fun!Weather outlook seems it may be a little rainy Happy Friday the 13th!

Good luck on the drive. I don't trust forecasts so I say **** the rain The car gods will keep the clouds away for us atleast for a little while.
