My wife has returned to work part time freeing up some money for me; so The time has come to redo my audio system. There will only be slight changes. I will be adding 2 new amps for midbass duty, swapping the sub to something that will take a lil more power, all new wiring, and sound deading the rest of the car. I will start tearing the car down probably on the 20th as I have a MP3car meet on the 19th. I will start a new build log at that time, but until then here is a system diagram.Aron

NOICE.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That's going to be some crazy shizzy... I just got a pair of IDQ8's for my doors... ID all the way around (CD-1Pro horns, IDQ8's and IDQ15's) Linear Power driving.. Alpine 701 processing and the xBox.. I should just go carPC though.. We need to talk... lol..

Man I wish I could do an 8" midbass. Cant do wrong with an ID/LP setupI wish LP was still around.I think you will be good with the 360, is there a way to incorporate a touch interface to it. I could be wrong but I think the Alpine TME720BT uses a 2 wire touch interface for the touch overlay. I would assume the 360 controller is the same if I recall the plug is 4 wire plug consisting of + - data in and data out. I would think if the resistance was right the touch would emulate the 360 controller. If that was the case it would be awesome as the Alpine screen is so much brighter. Who knows I'm just thinking out loud.BTW wat ar eyou going to use for interface? 360 remote? If thats that case I dont think you will gain much going to a PC other then processing power, and in the future you would be able to ditch the 701 if yo uwanted; and do all eq, TA, X-over from the PC. I know a couple people that have been pretty sucessful with that, oh and you would get easy touch interface solutions but not very sunlight friendly screens.BTW I thought I read you were going to run 10s also, mabye that was before the 15's and the SEXY beast from Critical MassAron
