WooHoo I just unlocked the third island today!

lol ya i usually lost it going into the turns near the bridge and stuff..either i get hit from behind and just lose control..or i try and take a short cut and hit a bump to fast and go airborne

Yeah I don't know how I won... right before the finish the second place car passed me but I had a clear shot and was hard on the gas. Was maybe half a length ahead of him going over the line. It was funny watching all the other cars go flying through the air after the finish, flipping and what not.I'm under the impression that I'm about 3 missions away from the second island. Problem is I spend SOOOO much time doing side missions and odd jobs LOL... easy to be distracted I guess.

yea im trying to do the missions again but keep doing other little things..meet the random people..and trying to finish off brucie and stevies side jobs..cant find this one car for stevie..driving me up the wall

Its so hard to not get sidetracked. I know that I could just drive around causing chaos for hours at a time.

i agree..i love taking a car..and just ramming people til the car sets on fire..then find a busy intersection and let the fireworks began lol

well I got to the second island. Spend most of the time looking for all the new locations. Caught a comedy show.That stuck up nurse told me it was best I never saw her again... so I went and stole a Ferrari and bought a $2000 suit. hopefully I can try again since now I have some fancier places to go besides The Cluckin Bell. LOL But then I lost the Ferrari. doing a mission Oh well I know where to steal another one haha.Is there property you can buy or a safe house on the second island? Maybe at least a place to store a car or two? I'm tired of going to Bohan and my parking place there is full.Taking a boat out on the water at night was really cool. The water effects are awesome.

no..you cant buy properties in this one..unlike the san andreas..which sucks..i have read theirs a runned down tatoo parlour on that little island to the north..but i've yet to be able to do so..all the safe houses on the 2nd island are given to you as you progress...i believe i've got 3 on the 2nd island and 1 on that island i mentioned..plus theirs 2 or more on the 3rd islandthey did an amazing job with the graphics and the water and everything..one thing i noticed and love..is when ur near the waters edge and look over to the other island..u can see all the lights and the car lights aswell...headlights/taillights..i think thats awesome...one thing i know you'd love to do phil..is on the 2nd island...go to the south-eastern part..they got the helicopter tours there..you can steal a heli off them(and get no wanted stars since you're a safe distance from any cop) and looking at the city from the air at night is just amazing

I have a lot of from Brucie because he will let me use his boat and heli at any time. I can even call him and he'll pick me up with a heli. What was really cool is he called me up and took me boating and out with the heli at night before the option to call for a ride became available.I hear that at the end of the PlayboyX missions, the option for a safe house becomes available... I'm taking it even if it means I gotta kill PlayboyX. Its just he has a sweet house. LOL Can't wait to get some other houses too because I have a list of cars I wanna keep.Whats the secret to getting the cop out on a date? the e-mail says 12:00 Sat. well she never showed up on my radar all day saturday on the ingame clock.

ya..they make u choose between killing X or dwayne(sorry to spoil it for anyone)..i dont do the dating cause it just pulls me away from the missions and ya..i rather do the missions first then go on doing other things after

I'm probably in the negative with him LOL.

i just ignore the calls whenever someone calls me...im just trying to do all the missions..beat the game..then go back and get 100%..once i get 100% gonna make a new file and do the game over but alternate things that i did..instead of killin X i'll kill dwayne..and i'll kill another guy who i had to choose between later in the game ..theirs an alternate ending so i wanna do it again for it

I DID IT!!..i've beat the game!!...man it's such a great game..im at 63% though..so still gotta do all the miscelanious stuff now ending was great..once i get 100% im gonna re-do the game and do things differently..kill certain people instead of others

Got both Nikki and Carmen (cop and nurse) but they don't seem to heal you or remove wanted stars during a mission Still on the second island though."If you had $300,000 dollors and wanted to put 10% down for a $9 car I couldn't because your credit is so bad. It was a sad moment in the game. Checked my email after and he had sent one before the incident. If anybody still has that email, try replying to it when he's dead...

and yes see the other ending..as for killing people i killed X and got his place..lol..but thats the thing i wanna go back through and kill the people i didnt kill..theirs..i believe 3 spots like that..where you gotta make a choice...and im not gonna spoil it but the end is awesome OH i also found that appache helicopter...i kept looking at the airport to see if it'll spawn there..but it never ever did...i found it on top of a police department on the 2nd island near the lowest bridge(i believe) you'd have to get a maverick and fly over the area..you'll see the heli pad and when u get closer it should spawn the appache..

Can't believe I missed that. I fly over that helipad alot for some reason. Must be too high up...

it took me a few times..i know that gun battle in the strip club took me about 4 tries..where u had to kill the 3 managers

Haven't done snow storm yet.Manny dies? Too bad Undressed to kill took me 3 tries I think. It's waaaaaay easier if you start with the manager in the 'champagne room' first. Going from back to front I managed to kill the other two before they got in thier Escalade.

i killed the first manager..using the bat..nice and silent lol..then went to the champagne room one and then killed the other one..snow storm was easy for me..took my time going in..runned and gunned going out..im trying to figure out what the other 37% i have left to do is...i'll have to search for this

my buddy told me something weird about the statue..he said if you fly close..and crash into it so you land on the last level..you can actually go in..theirs one of the flying rats..and a heart that beats(for the statue of liberty)..not sure if this is true but i've gotta try it

yep....i was messin around alot..did you know if you do a burnout long enough the tires pop? lolim trying to do the vigilante stuff..i think theirs 3 lists..1 per island..of 10 most wantedand that appache helicopter is ontop of the police station north west of the broker bridge..only way to get it is with another heli..and it possibly only might be available after the game is complete(yay me)

ok well i did it..got inside the statue itself...there is no pigeon/flying rat inside..but there is a heart!the door in which you go into..the plaques on either side say "no hidden content here"after u get in..this is all you see..4 walls..4 doors..and a ladder leading upat the top of this ladder is a platform..and the heart of lady liberty!i've tried to blow it up and do stuff with it..but nothing happens..so i guess it's just there for the hell of it

k well im at 68% and theirs nothing to do..lol other then the long stuff(jumps and birds) im having a hard time finding one of stevies' cars tho..he says it's behind the burger shot in north holland near the subway station..now i've checked all over and cant find it for the life of me

lol good luck..its actually easy to get to it..just make the helicopters rotors be near her feet/ankles in the front so you can get as close as possible and jump out

It just keeps ticking away. Although the gunfire scared everybody on the island and the cops showed up...

yep..doesnt do anything..i was hoping to blow it up..or shoot the chains and something happens..but nothing..oh well..i didnt really find it..its one of the easter eggs on that gta4 google map thing

So wave since you beat GTA4... is there only 2 endings or are there multiple endings? Cause I've come across different paths so far that could all end up with a different outcome. Kill playboyX or Dwayne. when working for Vlad, kill the one guy or let him go. When going after Dwayne's money, kill his x-girlfriend or let her live. Safe Roman or let them kill him. I discovered that by mistake last night that if he dies, the game doesn't prompt you to start over. Infact if I didn't have two save files going, it auto saved his death and I had to start over from the previous file which wasn't far behind.If only all job interviews were like "The Final Interview" lol

you guys play online yet? I think im gonna let my friend keep the ps3 for a couple more weeks. I have some x360 games and wii ones i want to beat.

i've yet to play online..told myself i wanted to beat the game first before i do that...and since i have..i might go online and check it outso just played "cops n crooks" online..pretty fun!!..it was only 2 on 2 tho..and i killed one guy in a cop car lol..then the other people left.

either I'm just to easily distracted... but my friend is on the third island and I'm still on the second. I've been playing more then he has too lol.

lol you're probably more distracted...did you know you can get to the top of the empire state building from the streets? entrance is on the east side of the building..cant miss the blue arrow.. awesome view too from up thereand theirs a flying rat up there aswell
