i rented R6V..it's pretty good..tried the online part once..was fun..currently playing forza 2

Forza is too hyped up... didnt like the demo. cars are sweet though.Dirt looks ok... gonna try the demo tonight.Waiting for my halo3 and then blacksite area 51, then Unreal tourny 3currently hooked on R6V though... good fun with others. kinda gets old if you by yourself.

ya true..we should play online sometime..i got the rental til saturday or sunday..and forza is a great game..demo sucked..but once u get into it..it gets better..it's pretty much the "gran turismo" of xbox

cool..i added ya..got the game til tomorrow..so i'll be on tonight for an hour or so..then tomorrow after work..gonna also grab xbox live gold tomorrow since my 1 month time trial expired today..plus put money down for DiRT..comes out tuesday i believe

mrizzle, some friends and I played rainbow six tonight, hahah it was sweet coop story mode! thnx rizzle hahah we should do that again.So if you guys have any of these games I have we can play:forza 2gears of warcrackdownrainbow 6 vegasI also have some of the multiplayer demo's from the market place that are fun, like shadowrun. just drop a line in here.

My friend and I will be on tonight as well. I went shopping tonight for a xbox elite, but couldnt find one , prolly not a big deal though since I dont have a tv over 480i yet. I might be getting DiRT soon...that game is soooo fun, but sega rally rev will have environmental changes in the track that affect driving, like tire tracks in mudd etc.oh edit: blacksite demo was meh, took too many bullets to kill things. overloard was a fun demo, it played like pikmin but evil hahah. but Army of Two, (removed) I cannot wait for that game it looks sooooo freaking awesome.

we should, to bad theres no trix/vibe, even gt4 had the vibe but my friend is on forza 2 everyday and made his cobalt on there and souped it up. we should get a race time for us though, that would be fun. whats your tag red?Right now my roommate and I are hooked on rsv. Mrizzle did you buy the map pack for that game? I think if i play everyday like this the 10 dollar map pack would be worth it.

Its on the marketplace, go to games, then played games and choose rainbow six. it has alll the DL's for it there. its 800pnts ima DL tonight.Is Tranformers gonna be good or is it worth it??? i dont know if i wanna get it?

i havent rented a game since i was like 16... haha. i just buy them. thats why i have like 10 games and only play 3-4 on a reg. basis. lol.ill look into it though. thanks... maybe ill get the demo first.North ill be on for a few tonight, but prolly tomorrow more since i only work one job.

if anyone gets a chance and hasnt played it yet, either rent the game or download the demo..it's called condemned(sp)..it's a pretty sweet game, its similar to like resident evil..but just more spookier

My roommate played the demo of condemmed while i watched. It was recommended to me, but it was to scary for me. My roommate couldnt figure out how to go anywhere to do anything.... but yes if you like resident evil you will love that game. Its like RE meets CSI

yea game freaked me out..which is why i loved it..reminded me abit like F.E.A.R...cause in both games, you're trying to find a certain person, and u got all these crazy **** happening around you, i jumped outta my seat at the end of the demo when u walk into this room and get nailed by the guy you're following! lol

I bought dirt cuz I love the game and the replay is good, i mean i can play those courses over and over single player cuz they are sooo hard! also I havent played online yet but I shall try sometime.Mrizzle - just let me know when it works for you, most nights im open. oh well my friends xbox 360 died...so i wont be able to play with you guys for 2 weeks his xbox is only 3 weeks old too. And my best friend who plays forza 2 everyday his is freezing a lot not which means that it should break soon. Man ms made some crap tastic hardware, I hear failure rate is 33% at least, which sounds about right.

I got my 360 the day it came out. I sometimes play for many hours on end, especially with Forza, and I have never had even the slightest problem. With the amount of counsels sold, I highly doubt that the failure rate is 33%, or Microsoft would be in serious trouble. Every game counsel made is not 100% foolproof, thats just how it is, and how it always has been. It is unfortunate when one breaks down, but Microsoft will usually get it fixed or replaced with out hassle.

no im serious the failure rate is at least 33%. There have been so many failing in the UK that the company they were sending them to to fix couldnt keep up. The cooling inside the xbox is some of the worse I have seen to date. It was like they never stress tested the xbox one bit. The X brackets on the gpu pull so hard that when the xbox heats up..and it does so very well, that the gpu solder breaks and the gpu will lift off of the logic board. The only real fix for after warranty is to redo the brackets on the gpu heatsink so they are not X brackets and just stand off so there is no more pulling on the logic board. If it takes MS over 1.5 yrs to fix this issue there is a serious issue with them denial, their fix so far which JUST came out was to add a copper pipe with a small heat sink onto the gpu heatsink. This is very unacceptable as the PS3 runs cold. the wii and ps3 combined failure rate is lower than the xbox. My other friends xbox died 2 days after warranty and he is having me redo the whole interior cooling. so I will be redoing all the heatsinks and fans along with adding new fans for a better cooling. MS f'd up they just wont admit which is why im pissed. idk if you saw but there were over 1k people that only played forza 2 and had that game break their xbox because it gets to hot when playing games.

theirs a few times where mine freezes when loading..maybe twice..and sometimes i get an error message about the system not being able to read the disc..even if it's a brand new disc..but i just reset and it's fine

ok well here is the 33% from EB games and best buy extended warranty claims. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=7892What that doesnt take into effect is the people who have not bought ext. warranties. there were perdictions of 40-50% failure...50 seems high but im thinking 30-40. For the launch systems its higher, but it also depends on the ventalation around the unit, room temp and amount of time played. So just make sure to keep it vented real good.

thanks for the info..my xbox is only played a few hours a day..maybe 2-3 at the most..and it's pretty good ventilated...oh and i just beat DiRT..100% career mode..just need a few more cars..do 3 rallys in championship mode..and the 3 live achs and alsothe miles..which is gonna take awhile...north..wanna do a favour for the both of us? do the 3 achievements on live?

redfire - i would play online but the xbox i use (my old roommates) is broke now, it finally got the 3 ring of death. So until i get an elite or in two weeks when my friend gets his xbox back, i wont be on live. On the weekends I go home my friend there has a xbox 360 maybe he'll let me play online, but his live gold ran out well....time for wii and ps2, socom here i come!! Oh when i fix my friends x360 ill have to post some pics of the fix i come up with..if it works hahah
