Rasermon,My darling wife decided we didn't need to go to a friends daughters wedding. so i guess steven (my 11 yr old ) and i will be driving up saturday A.M. should be about 3 hours from Ft. Wayne. is there a car wash near by?

Great news scherry2. I believe there is a car wash just before the dealership. Some of the members last year went to it. I'm sure they know exactly where it's located.I'll put you down on the list.

I will be there with a friend as well. So, two of us. I just moved here from NY and am feeling a little like a fish out of water. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people in Michigan! And how bad could a day of food, booze, cool Vibes and some pleasant looking eye-candy be? EVERY day should be like that!

Hey guys, sorry to say, but I can't make it on the 26th. I leave that day for a 3 week road trip down the east coast. Watch for a post with some pics of the "vehicle" we will be taking on our road trip.

Just show up. After all. the dealer isn't about to kick out a Vibe fan. Believe me, that dealer wants you there every bit as much as you want to be there.

The dealer wants an approximate head count, not an exact. I think last year we had around 20 confirmed people coming and just over 30 showed up. Not to mention the passer bys just stopping to see what was going on.

ok, here's an update. phil (mavrik) called me on my way home tonight and due to some plane difficulties on two (yes, 2!) planes, christian (psychobroker) will not be able to make it. he was supposed to have left about 4 hrs ago and he's still on the ground fighting w/ the airlines. he just gave up.... so we lost one due to plane probs.

two planes...the one from Vancover to LAX had to be replaced with ours (lol good job AC!) because a rudder failed (!!). So I was delayed 2 hrs from the get-go, then the replacement plane arrives in LAX, and upon take-off, BLOWS a tire. A few brake lines burst right after - the tower reported fluid pouring out from under the wing (!). Needless to say, we went into emergency landing mode and, thankfully, the pilot nailed it w/o complications. However, I then missed the only later flight to Toronto (via connect in Vancouver) by 2 people . Next flight out isn't until today at 1pm PST, and AC doesn't fly from the US but to Canadian destinations. The whole point of even flying to Canada was to meet with Phil & Carrie (well, Juliana at first), then drive down to MI. I guees it just wasn't meant to be.Please take lot's of pics
