They are the most well behaved dogs, and very lovable.

Thanks Joatmon, never saw this part of the forum.Well I love all types of pets..... but I just have my Airedale LakokaHe is almost 3years old.... and loves small furry things, NO I mean he REALLY loves them. Not sure what he would do if he caught one, since they are a hunting breed. But I remeber the female we had as kids used to bring home all sorts of dead things. He is mostly into marking people. dogs and things, two weeks ago a irish setter (beautiful dog) got pee'ed on, and then at a x-mas party, my girlfriends sister-in-law got the "Royal Treatment". Maybe he really thinks he is "king of the Terriers"this pic is his "got cats???!?" lookAire

I had a Siberian Husky (pure bred) when I was a kid/teen. I loved that dog more than anything - except maybe my cat. He was actually a red Siberian husky, not the traditional grey/white colour. He died from a twisted stomach at Thanksgiving in the middle of the night.

So many of you guys have such cool pics of your pets! I'm jealous! I haven't really been able to get any good pics of my Yorkie, he's not the type to sit still long enough to take one! I always get this blur of black and tan! I think he's even bouncing off the walls when he's sleeping. lol!

Pets? PETS? Let's see... there are the 3.5 dogs: the crazy Australian Cattle dog; the Benji lookalike dog; the lab/pointer mix; and the half, which is a lil blonde mix that now lives at my parents in the city because the fleas of rural LA don't agree with her. Then there are the cats: the black and white one that hates everyone; the all black cat, which my wife needs since she claims to be a witch; the deaf white cat that lives on the porch; and the Himalayian (sp) snowshoe that my daughter "just happen to find."There are also 2 fish and a frog in the aquarium. And, let's not forget the rat...And the countless dustbunnies....*sigh* I really don;t like animals this much...hjwii

The German short haired pointer took best in show at Westminster tonight. A really fine looking dog i have a Ridgeback, and like the hounds, but the bloodhound took that group. A great looking bloodhound, but not as nice as a ridgeback no offense intended, but I find I have no patience for the "toy" dogs. got to love dog shows, a quote from the judge "They all did everything right, but there's something about this bytch that was really spectacular"

I've got an all-gray 18 pound cat named Stirling Moss Goldberg. We had a Siamese Fighting fish named Yul Brenner that Stirling always tried to "get out of his tank". But Brenner died right before we moved from Atlanta to Saint Louis. That fish had soul, y'all! He'd get all puffed up if you got in his face right next to the tank or if you held up a mirror. He was the lowest maintenance pet ever, and he was soothing to watch. But he wasn't as fun as Stirling - nor as fuzzy and warm.

look at my avatar!he's a border terrier/border collie mix....extremely smart but has the devil in him 3/4 of the time (that's the terrier part)...i saw the short haired pointer win the terrier group last night too.......since getting a (partial) border terrier, i've noticed that they don't do so well at shows...they're not the prettiest of dogs, but that's part of the reason why i like them...i describe my dog (and all border terriers) as the 'generic brown and black dog kids draw in kindergarten'....nothing special!

Hehe. Yeah, she'll probably stay close. That's OK though. I bought her because I need a companion. She should get about 10Lbs or so. Her mother was about 11 Inches to the shoulders, so I would not expect her to be too big at all.

I have Bailey, he's a 2 yr old Cafe Au Lait Poodle. Been a great companion and playmate for me. Got really lucky, bought him on clearance sale at a Mall pet store, and once we got his hair cut (we lost half a dog doing that!!!, seriously he lost half his body weight, he hadn't had his hair cut in 3.5 months) and took him to the vet; he got a clean bill of heath, and has remained very healthy, with none of the normal poodle heath problems (hips and joints are major poodle problems) Too intelligent for his (and my) own good. People laugh when they see me (6'3 300+) with this little 15 lb dog, but he's great
