2009 passenger tail light assembly.

I backed into a post and broke the tail light assembly. Anyone know anywhere I can pick one up cheaply? Finances are extremely tight right now for my family, having medical problems.

Unless you have a local salvage yard with a 09-10 Pontiac Vibe sitting in it, eBay will likely be your best/cheapest bet.

Thank you for your time. You wouldn't know what that compartment is called that's right above the hood release would you? My wife meant to pull the hood release and instead broke the latch off of the compartment instead.

According to the "Getting to know your Vibe" manual, it's referred to as a "Storage Compartment". Best I can find, is it is part # 19204959.
