Exhaust Separations Anxiety!!

Driving, and heard something hit the pavement. Turned out it was the CC pipe falling off of muffler pipe.

When I visually discovered that, I also discovered that the pipe joining the CC and the resonator was completely separated.

Car is a 2003 Base.

So, I'm going to bring pix to muffler shop tomorrow for a preliminary estimate. Is this something that can be reattached/welded fairly inexpensively? Obviously, don't want to spend much for 20 year old car.

Ahhhh between the cat and the res you could go cheap and buy an exhaust sleeve off Amazon. I've done this with my old subaru. They are like $10. You probably need new exhaust hangers as well.
