Re: 2009 Vibe GT w/ 16" wheels?!

In time for your winter purchase, yes, the Michelin X-Ice X-2 205/60-16 with Momo Winter Pro S wheels don't have any clearance issues with my '09 GT. They are slightly oversize compared to the "recommended" minus-two sized tire for the OEM replacement. Performance was terrific during last ...

Re: Momo Winter Pro S with Continental Extreme Contact DWS (

Yes, 16s will fit 2009-2010 GTs! The wheels just barely clear the calipers, but we have run them on our two 09 GTs for two winters now without any rubbing issues or any other issues for that matter. The bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3. Update: I ran the Momo Winter Pro S 16" wheels all last winter on...

Re: Ride with 18 inch wheels

Data point for noisy Goodyear F1 AS/C tires: Last week I removed the left front F1 and installed the winter wheel with Michelin X-Ice. Drove a couple of miles and determined the vibrations at 20-25 MPH were GONE. So that vibration was due to one tire only. Had the car at the GM dealership a bit earl...

Re: (lowincash)

Kin,Thanks for the post last year on the Yokohama replacements for the Goodyear F1 tires - I wish I had remembered your post today. Most of my Goodyears are in surprisingly good shape after 30,000 miles. 09vGT, thank you as well. For posterity I put another related post on a different thread tonight...

Re: Momo Winter Pro S with Continental Extreme Contact DWS (J_TO_ENVY)

Hi Triton,Do you know where your Momo Pro Winter S wheels are cast? I could believe they're designed in Italy, but are they manufactured there? My wheel + tire guy can get me MSW six-spoke wheels that look sharp, but those definitely are made in China, and I'm concerned about quality control...Besid...

Bolt Circle Measurement (5x)

Another option for finding bolt circle for a five lug wheel: Measure the distance from bolt center to adjacent bolt center and divide by sine(36). That's pretty close to multiplying by 1.7.

Re: (Kincaid)

Hi All, I'm new to GenVibe and new to Pontiac. My '09 GT with 18" factory rims and Goodyear F1 A/SC 's has had a droning noise (like a WWII bomber in those old movies) at highway speeds and a noticeable periodic vibration at 40MPH. Mr. Goodwrench and I don't think anything is wrong with wheel b...
