i took my muffler off my 05 GT, kept the resonator on there and i liked the way it sounded around town. when you got up to 75-80mph at 2500-3000rpm it was a little loud in the car. so i put a flo-pro super v muffler on and replaced my resonator with a thrush glasspack and got a good sound of of her.

i got my 1.8 05 GT to go 131 as well. dont jump into 6th gear tho you loose it all becasue of the overdrive.

i did it with my 05 vibe GT and to me it sounded great, had a deep tone at about 3000rpm, keep the resonator on it tho. one thing i didnt like was the sound at 70-80mph cuz it sat right at 2800rpm and it was very load in the car. but anywhere around town going 45mph and lower was great almost silent...
