Nice! I have been reading both of your guys older posts on hauling. I know I want one but weight seems to be the biggest issue mainly because I will have my bikes as well. I like both style of campers but I mainly want one like Beemerphile1 has. Where did you get yours?
So I have the plain ol' 2009 Vibe 1.8 4 cylinder (automatic) and I would like to get some kind of pop up/camper. First off, I did search the site and I didnt want to revive an old post. Second, is it even worth trying to pull a small camper? I usually stay in Kentucky or Tennessee and let me tell ya...
Mine got pretty wet and so far its ok but not sure about dirt. Walmart.com has them and I got mine on Buy.com. This camera is awesome for being so small. Definitely limited but the HD video is a nice extra.
I finally picked up Gorillapod after telling myself it would be an interesting tripod. It is pretty good at hanging from nothing! I know it is silly to take pics of the Gorillapod in action lol.I was getting video of Crayfish on this flooded trail.
Ill show those bolts who is boss! lol Yeah my luck I will have a lot of trouble, it never fails! I bought the bike rack from Harbor Freight for $25 (yeah im sure its cheap). I am going to Mammoth Cave next week and plan to have the bike along for the trip.
Any of you guys shoot with a Powershot G series camera? I have a G9 IS and a Powershot SD 780IS for a second camera. Just curious how you guys like your G cameras. The G9 has a ton of options!
Dont get me wrong, that factory mat you posted pics of looks good! I mainly want it for the dogs so that would work fine. I actually have access to some thick rubber so I might just cut out that extra piece.
Ive been doing some searching on here for a cargo mat for my 2009 Vibe and havent had much luck. I see plenty of posts covering this topic but its the older Vibes. I am posting this because less than 10 mins ago I had two dogs playing slip and slide in the back of the Vibe lol. Scratching up the car...
I need to ask around the forum and see who all bought that Uhaul hitch (discounthitch.com) to see if they have had any problems since im ordering my bike rack this week.
So I called GM and supposedly the pedal was already fixed and I was told to consult with the dealership about new floor mats. The service manager said floor mats would be sent to the dealership and I would get new ones. Anyone else been told this?
I saw these on a few special edition grand prix but I have no idea what the lug pattern is. Id rock them on the vibe if they fit lol. Found this pic on google...
Well, I never have been a fancy pants about rims lol. I guess Rotas are still the offbrand to go with? Id like something like these Rota Bellas(they look close to my integra rims) but it looks like they only come in 17s. I remember seeing some Racing Harts similar to these...
Thanks for the foglight link ill dab into that soon enough. I just ordered a hitch from a link on genvibe (discounthitch.com) Now to order a bike rack.
I plan to go with 16's and possibly a bigger tire to fill some gap. I may not lower it because I plan to order my hitch and bike rack soon. Any tire size suggestions?
Yeah I need to get rid of the knobs on the front bumper and I also need to get fog lights in there! Any tips on where to get some fog lights? Id also like to see some bike rack rigs if any of you have em. Thanks for the comments and welcomes.
Ok Ok fellas pic is up on my original post I definetly will not be slamming this car. I actually was planning to just go with 16" rims and bigger tires. I lied though my first mod will be a hitch and bike rack.
Ill be sure to post some pics soon! Whats funny is I used to have a lowered 96 accord and gave up after I spent a lot of money on cosmetic mods. Now I have the 09 Vibe and im back to surfing the net for rims and what not lol. My 09 Vibe has 41k miles on it but thats super new for me. I have bought n...
Howdy folks! Just purchased a 2009 Pontiac Vibe (charcoal/graphite? standard). I am pretty excited as this is my first new new car ever. I will probably do the usual tint and rims first off. I am not sure I want to lower the car too much because I mountain bike and hike. I sure as hell dont need to ...
Thought I would start out with a hello in the Wheels & Tires since that is probably the first cosmetic mod I plan to do. I like to go mountain biking and hiking so I probably wont lower it too much since im usually in the country on gravel roads etc.
