Envy Green 2003 Vibe for sale

I know it's not everyones cup of (green) tea. But I just saw this Envy Vibe for sale in Chicago. If you're looking for this color, this one looks pretty nice. I happen to like it. With window tint and nice wheels, this would be a beauty. By the way, I am in no way associated with this car.http://cgi...

Hi DocDoug,I found out it was hard to photograph the stripe. Here are some attempts. When I got the car, the stripe went front to back. I didn't like the way it followed the upward bump over the front fender (my least favorite design on the car that I didn't want highlighted), so I removed the tape ...

My deal was not the best because I bought a week too soon and it was a 2010 instead of a 2009. My clunker also ended up only worth $3,500 instead of $4,500.Got groceries last night in it and we are really enjoying the pop up organizer in the back. Our first Vibe didn't have this and it is a great fe...

Re: No longer "Lurking"! (MotoXdog)

Good choice on the red. If red had been available when I got mine (I had choice of black or white), I would have gotten the red. That was last week. Now, I find out that my dealer must have bought out the inventory of Dallas' Ewing Pontiac and they have an entire lot of new Pontiacs sitting there, i...

Re: Another Clunker Deal-2010 AWD (Russiaville)

Well, I fixed the pinstripe myself. The dealer was going to do it on Tuesday but I didn't want to give up the car for a day. I just remove the whole part on the front fender and brought the straight part down to a point just before the front bump up starts. Looks much better. My new question: Do you ...

Speaking of the pinstripe, I'd like to ask the opinion of those here. The stripe was already on the car when I bought it and when I was paying for the car, I found out I had to pay $159 for this lovely thing. I don't like it, especially the way it bumps up in the front. What do you guys think of it?...

Another Clunker Deal-2010 AWD

I pulled the trigger on Thursday and got a beautiful 2010 AWD with sight and sound. Traded in a 2001 Explorer and a 2002 Mini Cooper. Got the GMS discount and the $1,500 rebate. Very happy so far. Just about to take it 100 miles for a class reunion. More later.

Re: Cheap Wheels (silverawd26)

I don't know what you consider cheap but I got these Mille Miglia Evo 5s from Tire Barn for $689 installed. I was able to sell my stock wheels for $225. I am using the original tires. I like the look a lot more than stock. I even got some Pontiac decals to put in the centers. Hope this helps. Attach...

Re: Vibe - A "Cool" car this summer ! (silverawd26)

OK you guys. I own a Mini Cooper as my daily driver and I just bought my wife a Vibe in March. They are both great cars. The Mini is very roomy and comfortable for the front seat occupants (I am 6'1"). The back seat is very small but that is not why you buy a Mini. It is so much FUN to drive. E...

Re: Red Grafxwerks on Abyss Vibe (Cidderiforous)

The rims are 16". I used the Contis that came with the car. Now I wish I had gotten 17s and new tires but that would have been more money. And no, there are no lights under the car and this photo is not touched up. I was surprised to see the red glow when I looked at this digital picture. The o...

Red Grafxwerks on Abyss Vibe

Well, I finally got around to installing my Grafxwerks overlays on my Vibe logos and to the center caps of my Mille Miglia wheels. I'm happy with the results. The bright red is not a perfect match to the red of the Pontiac darts but the dark red would be too dark. I probably should order the darts i...

Chrome Trim Piece for above license plate?

Does anyone know if any aftermarket company makes a chrome overlayor replacement piece for the the trim piece above the Vibe license platelocated in the rear? It is the piece that has PONTIAC engraved in it. Ihave an abyss Vibe and I think it would look good in chrome. My Mini hasit and looks good.

I took some pictures of my Vibe after I had removed the cross bars. I'm happy with the way it turned out. It was 75 degrees when I did it and the car had been sitting out in the sun all day.Good luck to anyone who tries it. [IMG][/IMG]

I got a kick out of your post because we obviously have identical tastes in cars.I traded a CRV in on a new Vibe for my wife. And I drive a Mini Cooper! I mustsay that I love them all. The Vibe is a great car for the money - practical butso stylish. Hope you get your Vibe soon.

Roof Rack Question

Does anyone know how to remove the cross members on the roof rack?I will never use the rack for anything and it would make it easier to keepclean. I removed the knobs all the way but that still didn't allow me toremove the bars. Any help would be most appreciated.

The rims are 16" Mille Miglia Evo-5. I thought about going with 17" but didn't want to purchase new tires. Options are AT, Moon & Tunes, ABS, Power, Cargo Mat & Net, Tint, Stripe.

New Member...Meet Darth Viber

I didn't research the Vibe for long but interested when they came out last year. I had a 1998 Honda CRV with 110,000 miles that needed to go. What really got me was the incentives being offered. My $20,000 Vibe came with $5000 in incentives ($2,000 rebate, $2000 GM Family Discount, $1,000 GM Loyalty...
