Finished. Didn't take pics, I didn't want to touch my camera with all the gas on me. I changed the fuel pump as well. The new pump does not make any noise when you turn the key to on like the old one did. Maybe the old one was going out?? who knows. THANK YOU to Sublimewind for the link to the manua...

Had the same problem with mine. 04 vibe. Ran the a/c 100% for 2 years in the caribbean. Lots of bumps in the roads. Kicking the bottom of the motor with your foot works to get it started again if it stops. Replaced the motor and all is good now.

Got a 04 metal gas tank off a Matrix from eBay for $140 shipped. Hope it's the same as the Vibe. Looks like it. Crossing fingers.
