You could try something like these: http://www.prfprod.com/ Some people on another forum I am part of for smart fortwo's have used them and report that they provide some benefit for keeping the back clean, but also for improved highway stability.

Well, the red '05 Vibe I looked at sold over the last couple weeks. There is another one in town, same vehicle except in black, but they're asking even more for $16K, and they've had it for months now. So far I haven't even looked at it. I've decided to quit looking until our Forester sells. Otherwi...

I'm sure they'll do fine. Maybe not quite as much traction on ice as with studs, but for snow/slush they'll be great.

I am considering a 2005 Vibe, base 5spd, with moon and tunes, and all power options, and a 2005 Mazda 3 Sport GT (5door). Being a GT it has the 2.3l, 4spd auto, and all the power options. Has slightly less room than the Vibe, but obviously it's more fun to drive with more power and tighter handling....

Those are great winter tires. I have the same ones, 205/70/R15, on my 2001 Subaru Forester. Mine are studded, how 'bout yours? Maybe it's not needed in your area.P.S. Love the re-painted stock alloys.

Re: Potential Vibe Owner (star_deceiver)

So I've checked out a couple of new Vibes for comparison.Could get a 2010 Base, 5spd, with 1SB equipment group, sunroof, roof rack, and XM satellite radio (no big deal on that), in carbon grey, for 20,500, before tax.Or, a 2009 Base, 5spd, with 1SA equipment group, basically no options, for 14,700 b...

I vote for the Winterforce with studs. I have them on my current vehicle and they are great. Those Altimax artic look good too, especially if you studded them.

Potential Vibe Owner

Hello everyone. I'm brand new to this site, but an active member on another forum for smart cars (ClubSmartCar.com). My wife and I are expecting our first baby and we are looking to purchase a vehicle that can handle a rear facing infant car seat, but that isn't a huge SUV or minvan. So far, the Vib...
