Re: (joatmon)

I own a 2003 Vibe with a 1ZZ-FE engine with about 89,000 miles on it.A few months ago, the check engine light came on. The guy at my favorite garage said it was the P0420 code and he cleared it out for me, saying that sometimes the cold can make that code come up.A couple of weeks ago, the CEL came ...

Well, apparently, I must be a weakling because 2 mechanics test drove it today and they had no trouble. I think one of the things that's causing a problem is that the steering wheel is a bit slick and I have to use extra strength. But on a different note,,,I did my second fill-up today, so I was able...

Hmm. I just got the car on Sunday from a used car dealer who bought it in an auction. My mechanic is replacing a tie rod today, so I guess I'll have him check the power steering for me.One if the problems is that I'm only 5'1" so I have to sit rather forward, but I'm afraid to sit too close bec...

steering takes too much muscle?

Does anyone else have a problem with hurting your arm and shoulder muscles just turning the steering wheel? It feels more like rack and pinion steering instead of power steering.I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to keep this vehicle! I love it... it's lots of fun... but it hurts!

Re: Vibration noise in dash? (Whelan)

Hi! I just got my Vibe yesterday! It's a 2003 with 77K miles... Salsa Dark Red. Love the horn! Love all the bells and whistles. I think it's going to be a fun car.I'm having the noise in the dashboard, too, but only when the air circulation button is not on. When it's on, the noise stops.So... I won...
