Get the new seat cover. A new seat cover will look like new, and be factory. I replaced the seatcovers in my F-250 years back with OEM covers, did not have to take the seats out to do it. Even if they do have to take them out, get the new cover, check their work and enjoy your car...

Be careful when using a cover outdoors. If dirt or sand get under the cover, the wind will blow the cover around and leave your car pretty scratched up. I think a cover is great indoors for keeping dust off, but a daily driver and a car cover can spell problems. Be sure your car is very clean efore ...

I think the vibe is a much nicer car for the money. You may get a little more for the Honda on resale, but if you are keeping it for the long haul go for the Vibe.

I dont think so. Heck, they can not even make the stupid smart car get decent mileage in my opinion and that thing is a tin can. Someday we will all have efficient diesel's with more power, better economy and longer life. We can thank GM for screwing up the american view on Diesel in the early 80's ...

Sorry to hear about the wreck. Best of luck on the new one. Maybe you shoudl buy the old one from insurance for a couple hundred to have around for parts. or maybe there is a forum member who would buy it from you to have around.

Well guys, I am back in my 2007 base with Moon and Tunes... I went to the dealer, the guy who "fixed" the paint screwed it up worse than it already was. They did not want to fix it again, as they had already painted a brand new car once, cant say that I blame them. I guess I got to drive t...

Jake75 - I have looked at it that way, and I come up with the same thing you do... It just stings a little that I negotiated on what I thought was a perfect car (if there is such a thing) and then found a flaw. I think I will accept it assuming I see it tomorrow and you can not see any difference, a...

No, not really. The warrantly will apply from the date of purchase, regardless if I get a 2009 or 2010. Also, the 2010 is going to be quite a bit more expensive. I think the 2010 is out of the question for the time being, the real question is if the 2009 paint looks acceptabel to me, will it look ac...

2009 Paint Problem - Your advice please

Hey guys. Picked up my 2009 GT a little over 1 week ago. On my first fill up I thought I got some gas on the paint, so I went to wipe it off. No luck, it would not come off. Apparently gas either got on the car prior to paint, or shortly after paint and discolored the paint and left some run marks a...

I totally agree. That is why I said we will see how long this lasts. I honestly think that they did a nice job making the stereo look nice, since I have the GT Ihave the Monsoon sub and MP3 deck. I just do nto understand why they can not put a decent amplifier behind these things and allow more cont...

Re: Anyone done a simple Head Unit upgrade on 2009 GT (Sublimewind)

Crutchfield has always done pretty good by me in the past. I have a GMOS-04 from my 07 vibe, I guess that will not work with my new one... That si too bad, it was pretty expensive. I am kind of liking the new stereo, considering keeping it factory, we will see how long that lasts... Thanks for the r...

Anyone done a simple Head Unit upgrade on 2009 GT

I am looking to install a pioneer head unit with Blue Tooth and XM in my new 2009 Vibe GT. I already have the head unit and XM tuner that I am removing from my 07. I saw some discussions on here about it but they look pretty involved, like upgrading the entire system. I want to keep the existing spe...
