are you sure it's dash problems? Ray Cullen has just ordered me a new steering column for my 2009 1.8. (Warranty fix) It's been making a clunky noise up front for the last 30000kms, Finch said they couldn't duplicate, but I took one of the Cullen guys for a ride and he heard it straight-away. They c...
Yep! I have a 2009, and the tune knob is also messed up on mine.I had it in today, was going to ask them to look at fixing it, but forgot. It has to go back next week or so for a part they ordered - I'll ask about it then.
I've seen on garage shows that bolts should be lubed for torquing, or you end up under-torqued - this leads to the bolt having sufficient friction to meet the torque requirements, but not sufficient tensile load to properly hold whatever it's holding.
it is nice to see the fold down seat available with the 1.8L now... I really wanted it on mine, but the dealer said it was impossible to get. Not that they tried very hard... and the option now on the GM Canada website is only $325. Worth it in my mind... I'm trying to find a fold flat seat to repla...
wondering if you got them yet???I think you don't even need a harness - the wiring is all in the car already from what I can see - but you will need to buy a new signal stalk, as that is where the fog-light switch is incorperated.Let me know how it goes - I might do the same thing!
to my understanding, the mp3 option came with a mandetory upgrade that also included XM. at least I think that was the case when I bought mine in May... I could check the paperwork, but I have a 5 year old on my lap and two 2 year olds beside me. On a side note, I've become quite addicted to XM
I had the same issue when I bought mine - wanted the fold flat, but not the 2.4L engine. A rather annoying configuration limitation by GM if you ask me. Where did you find the seat, and how much did you have to pay for it?
I've attended a crash involving a brand new impala with onstar and it did not activate. Onstar only self-activates if the airbags deploy - and not all crashes involve airbags - but can still be serious.
