Please help identify the problem

2009 Pontiac Vibe, 118K miles, mostly short trips on suburban roads. First owner. Had the passenger side CV fail about 3 years ago. There was no warning sound before it happened. Replaced axle/CV. All appears to be OK on the pass side. Now hearing strange sounds from drivers side front. Occasionally...

Driver side front wheel rumble

I know this has been asked before, but I haven't seen an explanation that fits my symptoms. 2009 Vibe, 1.8L, 120K miles. Only owner. There is a clear rumble noise (wheel speed) from LF wheel. It is noticeable at slow speeds but worst at 30-40 mph. At higher speeds it is drowned out by wind/road/high...

'09 Vibe Front Bearings. Need advice on difficulty, cost.

My '09 Vibe has a rotation noise (cluck..cluck..cluck!) on sharp right turns. I am going to check it out, but assuming it is a bearing, I'd like to get some advice on replacing them. I have done other jobs of a similar nature (front bearings (although these are sealed units), and ball joints on 2000...

Re: 2003 Single CD Moon & Tunes - mini phone jack trigger (Roeman)

Roeman:The LEDs going out on these Vibe radios is a common problem. If yours is dimming or out on one side, you have the same problem. Eventually the whole display will go blank.I sent mine off to a place in FL (FACTORY CAR STEREO REPAIR, INC http://www.carstereohelp.com/) and they did a quick and e...

Re: Hard Wire IPOD on M&T w/o Nav - Done! (Vibration)

Does M&T always imply a 6-CD changer? I have a 2003 Vibe with factory radio. It has a single CD and an AUX button. I have no Nav. So my question is: Can I get a simple plug-and-play iPod adaptor, or do I have to go through the cutting and splicing described by Vibration on this thread? I'm looki...
