Re: (northvibe)

I should add that if you are local and want to finance the car yourself I will sell it for $16000.00 plus both taxes as a dealer would be handling the details. Works out to $18080 taxes in or $366 per month over 60 months at 8% financing. Price is firm.CheersOf course with a down payment of $2000.00...

Re: buyer still has to pay taxes (elkhaze)

To all who have replied. Thank you, regardless of your intent. As to the transfer of finance, I have been informed by GMAC that it is in fact possible and that it doesn't involve any tax whatsoever. I have also been advised that I will be out of pocket about $900.00 for the hassle of transferring.All...

Re: (kunkstyle)

wow... price is $352 month for 58months. Or if you would prefer $20416 in a lump sum.If you pay in a lump sum you would be borrowing money at a high interest rate to do so. In other words, there isn't a point in doing that. The price is $352 per month. NO INTEREST NO FEES NO TAXES for 58 monthsCheers

Re: (ou.grizzly)

in reality yes. My mileage is down now on the highway and seems to be levelling off. I think I am just fed up with what I had to go through to get to this point. I'm used to my supermiler's, you know TDIs getting 50+ mpg and that is what I will have to go back to. I should have known better. I didn'...

Re: I'll never buy GM or quite possibly American again!! (PopeyeFAFL)

Thanks to everyone for their input.. it has opened my eyes to a lot.I have come to realize that these forums are great in that I get to compare information. I have also realized that these forums (I belong to http://www.tdiclub.com as well) are typically filled with people who are 99% happy with the...

Re: I'll never buy GM or quite possibly American again!! (ned23)

I guess I should be more literal as you seem to be. What I'm saying is that I'm not willing to turn this forum about fuel consumption and poor customer service into a "what the government does for the big three in Canada"You mis-quote me in that I state, rather than ONLY putting my tax dol...

Re: I'll never buy GM or quite possibly American again!! (ned23)

I'm not willing to get into what we do or don't do in Canada for the Big Three. I have nothing against the "big three" and wish them success... problem is they are now and have always been their own worst enemies.

Re: (joatmon)

THanks.. 60% isn't wrong. In Canada where I live the car is rated for 37mpg US gal Highway. I am averaging 22 MPG US gal therefore I am only getting 60% of posted value. I may have earlier mis-stated the 60% and if I did so I'm sorry for the confusion.I didn't expect the dealership to do anything ou...

Re: (chevelle_lover)

Vibe is rated higher in Canada as the testing is still the old testing procedure. This is why I allow up to 8 MPG. With the American way of testing you should be within 5% if posted.

Re: (scherry2)

Obviously as I can type and have no issue forming complete sentences I'm not an idiot. What I'm saying in this post is simple. I have a problem with the vehicle and it isn't being addressed by the company that sold it to me as I believe they should. Why then would I say I will not buy GM or quite po...

I'll never buy GM or quite possibly American again!!

Up until this year I have always purchased import cars. I've had some issues with my Subaru in 2005 but other than that I have been happy with my Audi, VW, Honda, Toyota and Nissan. All new vehicles bought within the past 5 years.Recently with the economic downturn I thought I would give an American...

Re: (Neouka)

maybe my math is wrong.. posted numbers on this car are 6.3L/100km highway and 8.4L/100km city. Since I'm driving mostly highway I figure 60% higher consumption like this.6.3L/100 x .60 = 3.78L/100km , so 6.3L/100km + 3.78L/100 = 10L/100km. This is what I"m averaging. I use cruise and don't pla...

no .. not in 3rd gear.. If you are getting 30mpg in the city then there is something definitely wrong with my car! I have had it into the shop and all they say is "if there aren't any lights on the dash then there is nothing wrong with the car"

Help.. fuel consumption.... rpm at 120kms

Hi, newbie here. Bought 2009 Vibe 1.8L auto. I'm getting between 9 and 11.5 L/100 in this thing. I have already complained to GM about it. I have brought it back to the dealer (Richmond Hill Pontiac Buick) and the serviice advisor there is unwilling to test the vehicle at highway speeds. Needless to...
