strange to see the Vibe financeing from GM is no longer zero for 5 years. Now it is 5.9% for 5 years. Not sure how they can compete with the Matrix.

I myself consider myself a good winter driver, but there are some rare occasions were i am thankful to have ABS. My old car did not have ABS, and after a snow storm when the city clears the road, there might be some slippery spots, and the one that might be dangerous are the ones just before a traff...

Re-registering the car in Ontario means buyer has pay the GST, unless you have factiored the GST as part of the monthly payments.Regardless, this a fair price. Will tell a friend who is looking for a vibe.

Re: Radio in basic 2009 Vibe... (trask)

i did not buy the upgrade, but came with mp3. I have the 1.8 Auto with AC, no upgraded feature, cd player comes with MP3. Even Toyota Matrix basic player has MP3, and why would the vibe not have mp3 on the base? It does but not mentioned in the specs, to force you buy the upraged sound system. Best ...

Winter tires for 2009 1.8L auto

Questin 1: Can I install the 15 inch rims on the 2009? Walmart and dealer say you can only put 16" rimms.Question 2: If I get the 16" steel rims from Walmart or Canadian Tire, would the multi-fit rims work or should I buy them from Pontiac/Toyota dealer?

The base CD player does play MP3, but it is not stated in the specification. You do not need to buy the upgraded audio system to get mp3.

Dealer is expensive...Dealer wants $99 to do oil change, inspection and tire rotation. This would cost me probably $50 at Walmart or Mr Lube. But I am affraid to void the warranty if I take it outisde. Where do you maintain you car? Dealer or WMT/CT/Mr Lube/ your own mech?

Now I am confused....The US GM site saying the 2009 vibe 1.8L Auto gives 25/31 mpg (city/hw). I am getting 7.5L/100 KM (HW) google conversion 7.5 L/100km = 31.3619444 miles per gallon, so my car is according to US specs. The Canadian spec for the same care saying 8L/100km City and 6L/100km HW, so goo...

Took my risk when going to 160km/h, but i had a clear view and an empty road, and no police hiding spots, maybe I was lucky. Guilty and irresposible but satisfied my curiosity. Maybe I should find some track that allow me to test my car.

The problem is my battery is hidden underneath the fuse box in the Chev. I guess it will cost me the same to replace the battery or ge...

I also have 2009 1.8L Auto with 1700KM in Toronto,ON, but my milage is much less. I got 430KM with 38L regular gas from Shell stations; that is around 9L per 100KM mostly City driving by myself.
