Re: 40mpg with CAI at 60 & 65 mph (Raven)

It may not be to far off though ... I pull 46 mpg in an automatic, over a 55 mile one way commute each day. My speed is steady 55 mphIn fact the other day I tried driving the speed limit, 65mph & 70mph in other parts and the scangauge was reading 38mpg.And I have no engine mods, so I may have to...

Re: Trikkonceptz - 2004 Vibe (bull77)

I am no longer on the stock tires, I have since switched over to Goodyear tires, and have had no issues with the PSI I am currently running, infact I can say with certainty that I am getting better wet and Dry traction because of it. Either way, here are some update pics on the grille blocks I did y...

Re: (Whelan)

It's nice to see you guys trying to push your Vibes for better mileage. It's possible, so don't give up ... my 2004 Auto averages no less than 44mpg per tank, unless I let some one else drive and so far my 1 tank high was 49mpg.I have the goal of 60mpg on all gas ... this may take some heavy mods, b...

Someone mentioned that their may be other threads on this subject. Has any member carried out this conversion? I am interested in a unique parts list for the conversion, no need to bring up price as I can manage to get it done inexpensively, I just want to prepare and gather components that aren't t...

Never .. as long as junkyards exist, I can purchase all components for less than $400, Vibe's tend to hold their value, therefore I am on the right course.

Switching from Automatic to Manual

Hey guys, I have an 2004 Auto Vibe. I have taken it beyond saving gas, as that was the easy part @ 44 mpg + per tank average, I am now setting my sites on 60mpg.In order to get me there I will have to switch to a manual tranny. So I have 2 questions. Is there a manual version of the standard Vibe? 5 ...
