That appears to be a clip on and not a bolt on like the one offered on all of the non-GT versions.

I am so glad to see the 2009 has folding mirrors. Their lack would have been a deal killer for me. I was planning to email something smart (removed) to Pontiac like "congratulations on selling another Mazda 3" if the mirrors did not fold.
