Royal Purple's Website claims temperature drops that are substantial, at least in their gear oil. Im not sure about the engine temp. Check out their site, they have some cool vids of Horse Power TV, TRUCKS, and a couple others using their products. Seems like they have good results to me.

Kev- I have the 5-speed. Have you driven one? I see you have an auto. I have heard that the 5-speed gets more power to the wheels. I test drove an auto and the 5, I thought the 5-sp was a little quicker.
