Vibe Dude, you say you are getting yours fixed .. Is that under arranty ??? I did not think the recall was issued in Canada as of yet..Hope the repair goes well..

the rattle is typical but the bigger issue is the clunk or snap, like soemthing is going to break, and in some cases apparantly it has,,,,the window. Sounds like Pontiac in US is taking care of the issue but in Canada there has yet to be any recall... if any Canadians here anything .. Let the rest o...

In Canada,, called GM the other day and they DO NOT have any noitce of a recall to be issued out. If anyone gets any info please do forward on to this site.

thanks for yoru info guys..I was planning on simply going to the wreckers and getting one off a grand Am or something. Nothing specail jsut something with a bit more of voulme.

changing the horn..

Another question... Not too crazy about the beep beep sound of the horn and thought maybe I will change it out to something a bit more ...I guess aggressive is the word. Do you know if this can simply be done by taking the present one off and installing a new one..or are there other complications ?A...

Shifting to 1st..

Hi all, Question,,..how slow do you have to be going to get back into 1st gear ?I find to downshift from 2nd to 1st, I need to be almsot at a stop, no more than 5 km hr, or it simply will not allow me to get into 1st gear. Is this the norm ??

the new (winter steel rims) did clear the hubs but by too much. I believe the inside diameter of the steel rim is approx 57 mm while the hub diameter is 54. Present situation..apparently C.T. has OE rims for my vibe, (only one store out of the 8 in the area has them). I have not yet seem them to con...

Thanks alot for the info...I will take a look around for the hubcentrics but from what I hear they seems pretty hard to get..esp in Canada.Damn snow...I already miss days of having to decide... open sunroof or motorcycle. Thanks again.

rims sizes..caution

Just a little heads up for those looking at winter tires and rims..Canadian Tire, Walmart etc offer a rim for the car but it is not the correct one..the diamter of the bore is too large..resulting in the tire being supported by the bolts..Just a tip..I learned the hard way...arrrr
