09Red_Se - wow, interesting stuff about not getting enough current because of the dirty terminals. I hope you stuck with that mechanic, very honest of him!

Re: (ToolGuy)

wow, I didn't even know that that little window was there and that batteries can be refilled with more acid? You mentioned that my battery does have that little window above the negative terminal. I'm not being sarcastic, but I couldn't help wondering why the little window is there if you can't refi...

Re: (joatmon)

When I had the mechanic test the battery, he said he cleaned the terminals a bit, so it was prolly worse before, wow...but yeah, what can i clean the terminals with? just water?yeah, i was wondering why the pic never uploaded to this site, I think you are ...

Re: (WaveAction)

oh, ok, by "assemblies" you mean that the light cover is not sold separate, its all together with all the wires n stuff? Then this auction must be for the whole assembly since you say they don't sell them separate, but the price is really cheap, so I am skeptical. Dealer's price is $250. C...

Re: TAIL LIGHT CRACKED (joatmon)

well, so far, it still works. Like you said, its prolly a long shot but I figured I would just ask. I emailed the site you listed to see if they have the part. I'm still confused if this auction is the WHOLE light assembly(module, whatever you call it) or just the red cover part? I emailed them and ...

Re: (darcmater)

hmm, when the mechanic hooked it up to the machine and tested it, he didn't say anything about it might be low on acid? Would that machine not detect the amount of acid? Well, like I said, so far it's been ok since then. The pic upload didn't work last time, here's a link to the pic of the battery s...

I temporarily have some grey duct tape over it. I am concerned about replacing it as soon as I can becau...

Re: (jake75)

well, it's been a while since I've had the problem and the battery seems to hold its charge now. I ended up going to the WalMart mechanic, he hooked it up to his machine and said that the battery was fine? I asked him how much juice it has, but he said something like it only displays if it works or ...

Re: (nygiantzz1)

I think you are correct about the extended warranty coverage. I'm just wondering when to know to replace them...
