Re: Lexan fog covers (WaveAction)

A wise investment, so I hear, not to mention the nice look. Can I ask you where you purchased them from? I have been thinking about getting some for a while and was too lazy to do the search myself.

How do you mend a broken heart.....

Picture it:Few months old 2007 Pontiac Vibe.... First new car in over two decades.... The only really nice thing that I own.And I manage to back it into a rough brick wall of a building that was a LOT closer than I thought. Not hard (I wasn't moving much at the time...), but enough. Enough to break m...

Re: new member (theodo155)

Hi, and welcome!I know just what you are talking about!I have been away from manual transmissions for a while but, even so, the shift on my 2007 Vibe base seems more than just the "stiffness" to be expected of a new car!I was expecting something really smooth and synchronized from the Toyo...

Re: (tnpartsguy)

Thanks for the idea!I looked at the VSM units and didn't care for the thought of using a Dremel to grind away part of that faux-chrome trim to mount the bracket. But while I was at the website, I noticed the Pro.Fit UltiMount, which I did take a liking to, found one on eBAY that saved me a few bucks,...

Re: Request for advice on interior mounting of Plug & Play XM Satellite Radio (wv-vibe)

Very nice response! Thanks for the advice, and the photos are really the finest way to show off your thought and excellent work! The wire routing is really the only "elegant" way of doing the job and I am going to try to follow your ideas on this.I think your power solution is the tops... on...

I like the idea of "hiding" the antenna with the roof-rack rail. As for the wire routing, well,... uh,... In the interests of greater safety, you know, I,.. uh,... went with the side impact airbags mounted in those pillars....And the same (sheepish) cowardice that made me order those airba...

Request for advice on interior mounting of Plug & Play XM Satellite Radio

I am going to call upon the experience of the genvibe elite to help me with a thorny little problem.I got (myself) an XM RoadyXT satellite radio for Christmas, and I am hanged if I can figure out how/where to install it to best advantage in the base model MT Vibe.I would like to mount the antenna at...

Is this "usual"?

Greetings!I was hoping for some feedback/advice on a little problem I am having (Or else I am making mountains out of molehills...).I ordered my first new car in well over 25 years on 31 July, 2006; a 2007 Pontiac Vibe base (Standard, ABS, Side curtain airbags, Premium audio system, a bunch of DIA's...
