Re: Recommendations for Audio Work? (esjones)

I know a little bit when I recommend area shops... I've been in the 12Volt industry for 12 years... I used to be the District Sales Manager for Pioneer Electronics... Please check out Sound Waves (near the Dayton Mall or Kemper Rd, Cincy) or Mr.T's Autocraft (Downtown Dayton). These guys are sepecli...

Re: How do you pay for dealer oil change? (Sub-Vibe-R)

Had my first oil change completed at the dealer it was only $21.20 including tax! $20 is their everyday price.

Here is a wire listing for an alarm instalation. As with any type of electrical installation - test each wire before you connect anything.

If you are still having trouble with a wiring diagram, email me and I'll send you what I have. I have a database of almost every vehicle on the road. n2sound@earthlink.net ( I'll also try to post a version here, at a later date.) www.sound-experience.com

Re: Passenger Blinking Seat Belt Light (PBFlash)

I pulled the passenger seat belt light out and made it a security light. It is tied to an aftermarket alarm. www.sound-experience.com

Re: How do you feel about the quality of your Vibe? (ragingfish)

I’m very satisfied with my GT. 7000 miles and I haven’t had to take it to the dealer for a single thing. (It will probably blow up after posting this…Ha Ha!) There seems to be a minor rattle in the dash but it isn’t noticeable when the radio is on. I have owned many GM vehicles (Yukon, Ventu...

You may want to check out Sound Waves (Cincy and Dayton). I've worked with these guys on many projects. They are one of the best in the area. If you are willing to drive to Columbus, I would highly recommend Columbus Car Audio. [URL]www.sound-experience.com [URL]

I haven't tried this mod yet. It looks easier than my brake wire bypass! ... I'm always up for a short cut.

Re: Any suggestions for a good aftermarket security system? (adogonakat)

I sell and install DEI and Audiovox products. I've been doing 12volt work for 12 years and these are the best I've seen. More important than the alarm you buy is the person installing the system. I've seen cheap alarms work great when installed by a pro. Ask to see the alarm system on the installers...

Re: My Vibe (Vibe) Over-ride DRL and Automatic Headlights

Here is what I did to over-ride the DRL and Auto headlights. On the DRL module(above the gas pedal) cut the RED/WHITE and RED/BLACK (these wires are the hand brake and the brake light on the dash) tie them together.
