Re: Ride Quality (jake75)

I went from a 2000 PY Integra Type-R to the Vibe GT (On my way to something else - yet undecided - maybe the GTO?). It handles very well in my opinion. Not anything like the R, but quite good. I also am used to pushing a car's limits - so I sort of know. For what the car is intended for, it's top ra...

Re: Had Vibe GT for 6 months- A review . . . (bh357)

After your reply, I took a look under the hood. The plastic piece under the windshield wipers makes since to me. There is a gap right in the middle which could vibrate with the engine. I'm going to take a small binder clip to it and see if the buzz goes away. If it does, I might drill a couple of sm...

Re: Had Vibe GT for 6 months- A review . . . (Zamboni Guy)

As far as the sounds go, the buzzing noise (sounds like a glass full of marbles vibrating) from the defroster vent has always been there. It buzzes as the engine rpms go up and down. If I coast with the clutch in, the noise goes away completely. This is the most annoying sound. The dash (always been ...

Re: what if the Vibe or Matrix never existed? what would you drive (fennrysha)

My car was stolen (Type-R) - Needed one ASAP - GM Purchase plan & 0% financing looked good - The Infinity G35 coupe wasn't out yet. So, I got the Vibe with the intention of replacing my daughter's 93 Geo Storm and buying the G35 later.

Re: Hello - New Vibe owner here (jacmol)

My Vibe GT is two-tone Satellite/Graphite. I happened to like the two-tone SUV look with the Satellite exterior. I'm not sure that I wouldn't have preferred monotone with the other colors. The options I chose include the Moon-Tunes and Power packages, Security system, and Side impact air bags. I thin...

Hello - New Vibe owner here

I thought I would post to introduce myself. I've noticed that there are not many new posts since I've been looking over the past week. I have a Vibe GT which I picked up a little over a week ago. As with many of you, I used the GM employee discount and was also able to get 60 month 0% financing. Can...

Re: Just got my GT, hard to make myself rev high enough (rsperko)

I had an Integra Type-R. It was recently stolen and I ended up purchasing a Vibe GT. If your not familiar with an ITR, it redlines at 8,400 RPM stock (higher with an aftermarket ECU). I bought the Vibe because its 1.8L engine is similar to the ITRs (But less HP). I feel at home with the Vibe (But th...
