Re: (Navtrtl)

Crutchfield is great, with a small disclaimer - make sure that the value of any wiring harness and stuff they throw in is enough to more than offset any savings you might get buying the unit elsewhere. For instance, if they throw in $80 worth of stuff free on a unit that they're pricing $100 higher ...

Re: 2 quick Qs (mcgusto82)

You know...Saratoga? http://www.nyra.com/saratoga/ ? One of America's oldest thoroughbred racing tracks? =pSeriously though, you're really close to Aqueduct, and Belmont is closer to you than it is to me by far...Anyway, back to topic - installation was done, and I spent the majority of my time putt...

Re: 2 quick Qs (jwalcik)

Awesome, that's exactly what I was hoping. I'll just duck into my bin of random things and find a spring-loaded clip of some sort to hold the wire at the point where I don't want slack back from, I guess.

Re: 2 quick Qs (mcgusto82)

*momentarily looks abashed* I just doublechecked the aftermarket harness I picked up, and there's a ground line on it. There wasn't on the aftermarket harness for my old vehicle...because that car's stock sound system didn't have a receiver ground to start with.I'll post whatever I find out about ru...

I'm sure these have been asked before, but I can't get the search tool to spit out what I want (I either get every post in the forum as a result or none of them), so I might as well ask, right?1) Is there a good/preferred place to stick a ground line from the wiring harness of the receiver? I know t...

Re: "This is my Vibe, her name is..." (VforVIBE)

i'll throw down a woot for the moonstone vibe crowd!i don't name my cars, but i have friends who do - the problem is, you always end up with a name that's either an inside thing with a few of your friends, or something so glaringly obvious/overused that you might as well not have named the vehicle.o...

Re: New viber saying hi! (TRDman)

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I'm busily generating a spate of questions to post in the appropriate places at some future point... TRDman, you sound like a fellow rider - I actually threw one of my bikes in the Vibe today to sneak a quick two hour grind on my local trails, and discovered that y...
