They won't fit. Looked at that first. They have to have an open end in the rack.

Wondering if anyone has found tie down rings that can be installed in the roof rack?

I just ordered an 11cu. ft. soft carrier from roofbag.com. I'll let you know how it fits etc. if you like. Checked some for hard carriers but think this will fit the bill.

Installed one yesterday. Feels a little peppier on the throttle (could be my imagination) but have only put on about ten miles. A friend put one in her Honda and her mileage increased 3-3.5 mpg.
