Re: Gas Mileage, what's the trick? (NewNeptune)

Quote, originally posted by NewNeptune »Yep, I keep the A/C on all the time. Try to keep the fan setting as low as possible commensurate with your comfort. The lower the fan setting, the more often the AC will shut off the compressor (boosting the gas mileage) and just circulate the existing cold a...

If you aren't up to the set speed after about 3-4 MPH, it will execute a 4-3 downshift, then if you still aren't up after anoth...

Re: Gas milage report (ke4yyd)

I have been watching my gas mileage on a daily basis. I have the ScanGaugeII installed. At my last tank fillup, ScanGaugeII reported that I have 10 gallons left and the gas nozzle clicked off at 10,05 gallons. This means that the ScanGaugeII is accurately calibrated.First of all let me tell you that ...

Re: ScanGauge II - Pics (JohnC)

OK, my installation is on a Matrix. Same deal though.I have removed the original radio and installed an aftermarket, so I have this pocket underneath the radio that is unused. The pocket is too small to accept the ScanGaugeII directly. Here is what I did. I got some of that styrofoam that is squishy...
