You are correct in that the passenger side is quite easy to get to. But the Driver side is equally accessible... after you remove the battery

"The way I did it was by parking on a level surface (my driveway) in front of my closed garage door and turning on the low beams. check to see if both beams are even with each other.(if they aren't even them out first) I raised them up 1" and then took it for a test drive that night."...

I'm suprised that no one has mentioned the Michelin HydroEdge. I put a set on my '03 because the Continentals were just too damned noisy. The HydroEdge are MUCH quieter and provide very good traction in both the wet & dry pavements.

Update - got the correct bulbs, replaced the OEMs with the SilverStars and aimed them... now I enjoy night driving again.
