It might be possible to switch out the harness completely, it's annoying that they say the doors are compatible when the electronics are not.

I had to replace the rear door on my 2004 Vibe with a 2005 Vibe rear door. everything I read says they are compatible. but the plug for the wiring in the 2005 is different than the one for the 2004 and the 2005 has more wires.
