Same happened this morning, started smooth and ran smooth for three minutes, then died. Cranks fine, but no ignition after. I'm not as confident about EVAP theory after reading more about issue. They're just replacing the clutch so far. $1400 was just for the clutch. If it was only the clutch, I don't understand why it returned to normal after replacing the fuel pump. Clutch was replaced maybe 40k miles ago. The clutch still feels good too, can manually change gears easily.
