joejoev, how does the car feel at 400K? Why I'm asking is when some cars get to a certain mileage, they lose that certain tightness, as they gradually transform into a ****box. My '98 Civic with over 300,000 miles definately has that ****box feel, so much so, that I won't take it on a long trip. joe...

I've have 193,000 miles on on '05 Vibe. What an incredible car! I love my Vibe! The only real issue I've had is an air bag impact sensor needed replacing. I can't believe joejoev's 400,000 miles of mechanically trouble free ownership. Just exactly what I was looking for when I bought this car. 400K,...

Quote, originally posted by cerulean »You could check the connector on the back of the radio bezel. If that's disconnected, the airbag light will stay on.That may be it. This airbag light came on shortly after I had my Sirius radio installed. They buried the power supply and FM booster in the dash....

Airbag Light On - Likely Causes

Hello all, I haven't been on here in awhile, which is great testimony to the trouble free ownership of my 05 Vibe with 180,000 miles.Well there's trouble - my airbag light is on and I need an inspection sticker. What I'd like to know from you guys who have had the same problem, what is the likely cu...

Re: '05 Vibe - Likes & Dislikes (GMJAP)

I agree that the driving position takes some getting used to. I have manual locks and I really wish there were the old school push down stalk type lock, rather than that rocker switch style. I really wish there was a push down lock on the hatch rather than having to use the key to lock it. Makes me ...

Re: (ShadowRuleZ)

I agree with everyone else, the GM employee discount reeled me in coupled with Toyota's arrogance at wheeling and dealing. The Vibe also looks better. I've had mine about 2 weeks and absolutely love it. It's amazing how it swallows my mountain bike whole.

Re: New Vibe - NUMMI Slave (MiVibe-ToolGuy)

I know it sounds like I'm ranting about and praising Toyota all at the same time. I know for a fact that if the Vibe wasn't Toyota-based, I wouldn't have bought it. I see owning a Vibe as having to deal with GM by default only. I've heard ugly stories about GM. I just hope I'm not about to be burned...

New Vibe - NUMMI Slave

I’m a new Vibe owner! I just purchased a new 2005 Frosty base Vibe this weekend at the end of the employee discount promotion. I allegedly saved $3600 off invoice – a deal too good to pass up. I’m looking for an 8 year, 250,000 mile trouble-free ownership experience that can only be obtained t...
