Greetings All....what is the purpose and function of the lifter cover ventilatioin hose that connects to the air intake snorkel just before the throttle body ? And doesn't it make the PCV valve unnecessary ? Please teach me what / why this hose is there and the directionof air flow thru it at start ...

Any pics and instructions on where to find both ends of the AC drain lines so I can clear them. Are there more than one line, such as a line that drains rain/snow water that collects in the fresh air intake cowling at base of the windshield ?
