Re: Headlight adjustment? (LadyHwk750)

Just a note to all you do-it-yourselfers, There should be a mark (mine was red) where the original factory setting is on the top of the adjustment screw. This will be helpful if you lose your place and want to start over. Also after all the tweaking I did the passenger side ended up back in the orig...

Re: Headlight adjustment? (Pump233ca)

The way I did it was by parking on a level surface (my driveway) in front of my closed garage door and turning on the low beams. check to see if both beams are even with each other.(if they aren't even them out first) I raised them up 1" and then took it for a test drive that night. That seem t...

Re: Headlight adjustment? (NSimkins)

The aim of the low beam drove me crazy too. There is an adjustment screw on the back of each headlight for raising or lowering the aim. It takes either a screw driver or 10mm socket, you'll need the socket for the drivers side because there is limited space. Its been great to drive at night again! N...

Re: STP oil filter number ?????? (crawdad321)

Don't know about STP, but I know the Fram#'s.I just changed my yesterday. If you have the base vibe the original filter is a Toyota 90080-91058 filter. The replacement Fram is 4967 The auto part store also said that the PH 2951 would fit also.

Re: Daytime running Lights (lopers)

I don't mind the daytime running lights but the automatic lights on present a little problem for me. I work at a military installation and must pass through a security checkpoint every morning, needless to say the guards get a little ticked off when you approach with your headlights and not your par...

Re: Hardwire radar detector (ullbergm)

Yep, one of the first things I installed. The only problem with wiring it into the sunroof power switch is you'll lose power to the detector for a second when you open or close the roof. There is no other power source to choice from up there that shuts off with the ignition. I don't open the roof th...

Re: Automatic transmission drive engagement noise a ... (vibb)

I had it done at McNamara Pontiac in Orlando FL. on 5/4/02. My paper work states " Lubed lower ball joint" have no idea what it is, but it stopped the popping/clunking noise when going from reverse to drive and vice-a-versa. It also stopped it from when you step on the gas from a stop. If ...

Re: Automatic transmission drive engagement noise and engine vibration (vibb)

"Trans clank" had the same problem right after receiving my vehicle back in May. Took it back to the service dept., seems to be a service advisory out seeing the service manager knew exactly what I was talking about. They lubed the front ball valve and I haven't had a "clank" sin...
