Re: Drivers Side Window Won't Close

Does it sound like the motor is working? Does the glass look misaligned as it goes up? I have a problem with one of the sash clips breaking. It is not an uncommon problem. Did you take it in for the recall?

Re: Staying Reliable/What Fails Routinely?

I've had my 04 Salsa Vibe for around 7 years. It has 208,000 miles. I've had a check engine light on for about 7 years and have driven it from Virginia to Florida, from Kansas to Florida, from Florida to N.Carolina, etc. There's a vacuum leak somewhere. I have replaced the tires, battery, starter, s...

Re: How To Replace your clockspring

Thank you very much! My light went on a couple of weeks after my first recall and I always suspected the dealer mechanics screwed something up.

Afterwards, maybe some weeks or a couple of months later, I had problems. The window would have problems going up and/or down. I would have to m...

New member North Fla. 2004 Vibe

I really appreciate the members here. I have done quite a bit of browsing and have benefited greatly from the information here. I have a 2004 Vibe. 180,000 miles, plus. I've had it for 6 years. Right after I got it the engine went bad. I think the previous owner didn't change oil, or something. It w...

Re: Road Trip

1. Do you have AAA or other road service associated with your insurance? Search the web and I think there may be 30-day free trials of AAA somewhere. 2. Duct Tape? It's always good for camping, or temporary first aid ;) 3. A tarp? 4. GPS? 5. Extra battery for cell phone? 6. Binoculars for viewing th...
