The interest rate was the same but, yes, I have more payments. The last time I saw the car was at the insurance lot, and taking things off it did run through my mind. I just wanted them to hurry up and settle my claim, (which they did). Unbelievably, considering the wreck and new car, my insurance r...

Just to let everyone know what happened.....After messing with a very questionable salesman at the dealership that we bought the Vibe from, we were really down hearted. We were told that our credit score had dropped and that we were not going to be able to get into a Vibe unless we put down some ser...

Well, we are getting the rental, (an 04 Jeep Loredo, which my wife hates) for 30 bones a day after friday. I don't know how much of a discount that is, as it's been a long time since I rented a car. I found out today from Progressives website that my balance due to GMAC at this point is $121.00. The...

I'm actually starting to get a really creepy feeling about the dealership. The sales guy that ran up to us when we got there, kept telling us that we really needed to call and have GMAC cancel the extended warranty, to get that money back. The fleet sales guy that we went through before, no longer w...

Progressive said we would get a "discounted" rental rate. Don't know what that is yet.

I haven't heard from the insurance company on my premiums going up yet, but I know it will happen. I have heard all kinds of horror stories about Progressive, but they are paying it off and I only have to come up with $1120.00. I have no doubt that it was because the car was so new. The only thing t...

Well, In the United States, (at least in Arizona) there are no restrictions that I know of for diabetics operating a motor vehicle. I am told I will be given a citation from the city that it happened in, but I haven't received that yet. I know that in the U.S., diabetics are not permitted by the FAA...

Re: Wrecked my Vibe (AzFusionGT)

Here is the picture I promised today. We got a call from our insurance today. All I have to pay is the $1000.00 deductible + $120.00. That we are told could be rolled into a new loan from GMAC. So we went down to Midway Pontiac, (where we bought the first) to get the ball rolling on another. Attache...

Re: Wrecked my Vibe (joatmon)

Yeah. I'm okay. I have two broken ribs. The paramedics said that was probably a result of being slouched over the wheel when I passed out. I have pics at home that I will attach tonight when I get there. (I'm back at work today.) My dad was trying to keep the monthly payment lower so he told GMAC th...

Wrecked my Vibe

I'm sad to say that last wednesday, 5/18/05, I wrecked my Vibe. I have type 1 diabetes, and to make a long story short, had a reaction to the insulin I had taken that day. I ended up losing conciousness behind the wheel and hit a concrete divider on an overpass, head on. The Vibe to the impact rathe...

Well, I'm a dork. I don't know if anybody here is into MMORPG's (Thats Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) Everquest is a popular one and since Nov. of '04, I've been playing the newest one out there, "World of Warcraft" in World of Warcraft, I have a gnome warrior that I use ...

Re: The Sonoran Desert is Blooming (JohnC)

JohnC, where was that picture taken? I live at 35th Ave and Pinnacle Peak. That looks just like the mountains at Thunderbird park, just west of Waterworld and the 500 club. True it is great time to live in the desert, but you and I know it's all going to dry up in the summer and some lost camper is ...

I bought one of those at a KB store at the local outlet mall a couple of weeks ago. They had a couple of Vibes and a couple of Matrix. I think I paid $3.50 for mine.

Yeah, "100 large" is typically 100,000.00 unless $100.00 is alot to you.

roof rack cross members

Did the earlier Vibes come with the cross members on the roof rack? I have an 05 and I had to buy them. I was wondering because I would say about 90% of all the Vibes I've seen here in Arizona have the cross members. I can't see nearly everyone that buys a Vibe shelling out over a hundred large for ...

Hey, just wondering,....how hard was it to put the grill on? I've looked at the ones on Ebay that appear to be zip-tied on, but I am looking for something a little more secure.

Re: New guy (wicked1981)

No. I'm actually talking about the piece that the spoiler rests on. I got an after market bike rack because I didn't want to try to put a bike on the roof and risk scratched paint, etc. The support to the rack put an almost unnoticeable crease in the air deflector. I know it's there, though, and wou...

New guy

Hi. I'm a new guy here. So new I only have the pic I just took in the garage. I own a 2005, Fusion, Moons & Tunes, Vibe. I came here originally looking for a part number for the air deflector on the outside of the lift gate. I located it elsewhere, but found a treasure trove of information here....
