Thanks for responding, ken. I need both rear backing plates as they are both in very bad shape. I took it to a local mechanic this weekend and he is going to look into the getting the whole rear axel because he thinks it might actually be cheaper that way. I will keep your offer in mind just in case...

Just wanted to see if I could get an update from anyone who has tried Toyota rear backing plates for their Vibe, specifically for the GT. Just wanted to confirm I could do the same as it is difficult to find reasonably priced GM backing plates. I bought a 2003 Vibe GT and the plates are rusted away ...
