Re: Crap load of snow (sicknic)

Yeah, I really hate my weather here. The winters here last from November to April, but I really can't complain this year because of all the tsunamis, mudslides, flooding and blizzards everyone else is getting.

Re: Even Cops love the Vibe (sicknic)

I got pulled over again today, but I got off. I had my Millitary uniform hanging in the back seat and I told him I work for the state (its true). I wasn't intentionally speeding, I just wasn't paying attention. When I saw the cop behind me I looked at my speedometer and I was going 80 in a 65. Ooops...

ABS Plastic trim kit?

I am looking at getting a trim kit for my interior as opposed to painting. Acculaser.net has some good kits that I am interested in. The sales rep said the kit is made of a OEM film coated ABS. ABS is Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. I am not really sure what that is. Can anyone help me with that? I...

Re: Does the GT really require premium? (rAERRK)

I haven't really noticed a major difference between using premium and regular. I do notice that the tank seems to last longer on regular than premium. I can get about 270 miles on regular, but premium gets me 240-250. I have a long comute to work, it takes me about 40 mins so I drive a lot.

hmmm. It sounded like snap on to me, but it could be vinyl. I'll have to research more.

Re: Even Cops love the Vibe (sicknic)

I was in the army at the time and did my term, got an honorable discharge 2 months later. I can't see myself ever going back there.

Even Cops love the Vibe

In July 2004 (2nd month of ownership) I got a speeding ticket, going 86 in a 70 in Tennessee. I guess the cop liked my Vibe GT better than the pickup truck that was going 95 in front of me.... I should probably pay that ticket off, its been almost 6 months now.... Ooops!

Re: Painting the trim (sicknic)

I like Tritons snap on kit, but the acculaser site is weird in that it says it costs $334, Triton said 160, which sounds reasonable, but 334 is too much for me. I didn't see the solid colors on the site that triton has. They were all wood or carbon fiber. I wonder if any of those vinyl kits on Ebay ...

Really Cold

We had a snow storm with freezing rain last week. It was freaking freezing, and my vibe was covered in sheer ice. I went to work the next day and stopped at a McDonald's to get breakfast, and my power windows were frozen shut. I was embarassed that I had to open my door to get my food. I had to wait...

Painting the trim

I know what my first mod project is going to be for my vibe gt. The silver trim (not the chrome) on the doors (with the window/lock controls) pops right out and can be easily separated from the controls, so in the next few weeks I am going to remove all of the silver trim and paint it red to go with...

IPod for the Vibe

I was thinking about getting an Ipod and hooking it up to my stereo in my vibe gt. I have the 6 cd in dash stereo, and it does have an Aux hook up. Does anyone know of any products i could get to hook it up? I also want to get a mount that compliments the interior. I don't really care if I have to u...

Newbie dubie doo

I am a newbie to this forum. I bought a black 2004 Pontiac Vibe GT with the sports package, and the Moon and Tunes package with the 6 cd in dash changer. I love the car.
