It did the same thing to me this past winter in almost the same place! I think it was something to do with the key/chip which is real weird. I switched with the other key and away it went. If it happens again I'm going to look to see if the security light is on.

I have the same trouble with my 2009 Vibe 1.8l We live on a gravel road so it gets a lot of dust and stones. I have replaced it a few times and it's expensive! I had a rubber shield put on to stop stones but there is still dust. I heard that if you put a shop vac bag over it wont suck in as much dus...

My '09 currently has the VSC light flashing, ABS, E-Brake and Traction Control lights on. The garage I bought the car from told me it is due to a bad sensor in the right rear wheel bearing. How did you end up getting the rear caliper compressed? Did you have to turn it and push at the same time?
