Re: Supercharger for the GT engine (Clashfan)

180 horses yes, but only 130lbs of torque whereas a supercharged base vibe would put out close to 170lbs of torque. you also have to consider where the 180hp kicks is (6000rpm +)...so overall I think the performance with the supercharger would be better that a GT but then you also have to consider y...

Re: Majority of Canadians support U.S.A. (Zamboni Guy)

A few idiots booing a national anthem does not reflect the opinion of all 30 million or so Canadians. If I remember correctly several Americans were booing the Canadian anthem at a game in the US as well. We cannot assume that Canadians don't like Americans and vice versa just because each country h...

Re: GT vs Base models. (Brak)

I have a Black Monotone Base Vibe with an Auto Tran, Power, Sport Pkg & Tinted Windows. Saying that the GT has 50 more horse that the base just is not a fair comparison. The GT and the Base have almost an identical power curve until you get above 6000 Rpm. If you want to race, get the GT...if yo...

Believe it or not, the one I liked best was the Hyundai Santa Fe and it was also the cheapest. Like you, I found most of the interiors to be cheap (Saturn Vue was h...

Re: smell from vents (vibenorth)

I have also had problems with a strange smell coming from the vents. I have stopped using the recirculation as much but the problem has not gone away. I'm going to give a few weeks and then it's back to the dealership...so far it's my only complaint.

Re: Canadian Vibe - What did you pay ? (gmvibe)

I dealt with three seperate dealerships with this issue and none of them were willing to move at all. When you have to wait 14 weeks for a car, chances are that lots of people want that car. My Vibe is listed at about $1000 more on the GM website than what I paid. I'm guessing this is due to my car ...
