Wife got hit on the freeway by a car that failed to remain 3 weeks ago in the vibe.
Know your pain. Going through insurance too... Thankfully she's ok and the vehicle is drivable!
Estimate is 1124.50 and 4 days to fix.....

226500 km (140500 miles) on the odo.... Still going strong!!!! 2004 Pontiac vibe with the 1zz

Syn oil and filter and I drive it like I stole it!

Not the vw though. That little tdi is pampered!
2014 jetta tdi. 126 Kms on the odo. That's 000126.. Got it yesterday. Lol

I was told by the dealer that sometimes when the throttlebody and the intake manifold are separated, the gasket may need to be changed and it may cause the engine to idle rougher or higher. Now I've already done this job (now twice, and replaced it with a toyota orange one :-) ), and I have yet to h...

If this makes any sense. The GM part number is 88969024 and manufacture date of 2012.12.20

Car has 194000 Kms. So when it does fail I don't expect to still have that car!!

So the other day I went to GM in whitby and bought an intake manifold gasket. They assured me that this was the part, but they gave me an ac delco gasket (black) Am I right to assume this gasket will fail?? or is this an updated one for gm vehicles Not looking forward to taking this apart again, but...
