Spark Plug Change

Took my 2003 Pontiac Vibe to the shop today and had the spark plugs changed. The shop used double platinum and when I noted that the manual had called for iridium, I was told that they work more or less the same. Car seems to start up and run ok but I was wondering if anyone else had any experience ...

engine air filter clips broken

Hello all, I was replacing my engine air filter today on my 2003 Pontiac Vibe and one of the clips holding the filter broke off. The other clip still works ok and from what I can tell the filter box is more or less closed. I was wondering the following. 1. Is it okay to leave this as is? 2. If not, ...

When I parked, I looked at the passenger side front wheel and noticed a hole that had eroded the front gray plastic in front of the wheel. It turns out the plastic covering t...

Air conditioning recirculator problem

Hi everyone, I took my 2003 vibe into the dealer today to get a supplemental restraint system electronic control module repaired (there was a recall) and when I tried to turn the AC on later that day, netiher the AC nor circulate buttons were lighting up (or working). All the other buttons were work...

car battery draining with hatch open

Hello all, I will be moving a twin size bed using my Vibe and some handy ropes to tie down the hatch. Unfortunately, this means the car will be open for the duration of the trip. My original plan was to pack up the car at night and keep it in the garage but I have concerns that this will drain the b...
